Star Home Academy

The Star Home Academy (SHA) was founded in the year 4042 and has taken over providing education for new recruits of the Hapes Consortium as a whole, while continuing the proud traditions of the Royal Hapan Military Academy. Nestled in the Millinar system, where its main campus and training grounds are located in the vicinity of a Royal Hapan Armed Forces base. The Star Home Academy also maintains bases and higher education facilities on both Hapes Prime and Lorell in lieu of its mission for providing higher education for the officials of the government ministries and institutions.

Its diverse educational portfolio, and its continuation of the historical roles of the Military Academy and the War College, with its courses managed in close collaboration between the Ministry of the Interior and the Royal Hapan Armed Forces make it a somewhat anomalous entity on the organizational map of the Consortium’s institutions. Just the same, it is considered part of the military structure, overseen by the High Command and the Chief of Staff of the armed forces.

Within the Star Home Academy, once a new officer or civil servant has tested on the basic cultural and social education level expected of every sentient in service of the Hapan Government or its Military, they are set upon to completing the basic courses ran by the armed forces on Millinar. Unlike for many other military services and their training programs, officers of the Royal Hapan Armed Forces return to the Academy to participate in new curriculums, studies and think tank activities throughout their career, promoting the interaction between academic skills and modern education, and knowledge and skills acquired through experience and service at the forefront of their duties.
