The Fountain Palace has held a brief press conference to announce the changes in leadership of Ministries of Defence and of the Interior.
A spokesman for the Hapan Throne was quoted stating the following:
"During the Royal Council Meeting earlier today Minister of Interior Xesh Randell has stepped down from his post and was appointed to the position of the Minister of Defence. Minister Randell agreed to stay on in the capacity of acting Minister of Interior until such a time that the Crown appoints his replacement."
"His Royal Majesty King Kadrim was impressed by the leadership Minister Randell showed during the last years military exercise with Triumvirate Coalition Armed Forces and is confident that he will be up to the challenge of the command over our entire military forces."
The Lorell Hall spokesman did not comment as to why Diranix Tylger had felt compelled to step down from the position as Minister of Defence, stating that it was a private matter for the Grand Prince, but confirmed that the Grand Prince was remaining on the Royal Council as a Royal Advisor. Diranix Tylger previously had held the Hapan Throne till year 4040 until concerns over deteriorating health lead him to eventually abdicate, having spent a lengthy period away from the public view by then.
