Template:Ship-Individual-Current The HRS Illustrious is one of the first Imperial Star Destroyers to be built outside of Imperial Territory and marks the era of the Imperial Union. The ship has been designated with the Hapan markings which makes these vessels stand out from the Imperial Navy. The vessel was ordered by his majesty King Jessy James on 4033, Day 280 and it's hull was laid down in the Charu Shipyards on 4033, Day 340. The ship was built by the Olanji Corporation according to Imperial blueprints. Some small updates were made to the ship, such as the addition of Hapan military technology as well as new navigation systems for smoother travel within the Transitory Mists, RAGoC targeting computers and an overhaul of the senior staff’s quarters. The ship is equipped with a wing of Miy'til Interceptors and Hetrinar Assault Bombers. The ship has been equipped with Hapan Technology to ensure safe passage in the nebula.
History
The ship was finally commissioned into Hapan service in the year 4034, Day 32, as she was named the HRS Illustrious. The ceremony took place in orbit of Hapes where the ship was named along with her two sister ships, the HRS Liberty and HRS Jaakorium. Some believe there are more such vessels in the being built at hidden shipyards throughout the cluster.
The details of how the blue prints for such a ship could have been obtained by the Hapan people remains a mystery to the present day. Many believe it came with some kind of agreement made at the signing of the Imperial Union in 4033. As of today, very few people have even seen this ship, or it's sister ships in Hapan space and their where abouts are kept quiet.
