Template:Cluster-Area The Knot Holes is an area of the Hapes Cluster located in the Rifle Worlds region between the Lorell system and Capital region. At the inner end of the Lorellon Conduit the Knot Holes function as an intersection for many hyperspace routes within the Hapes Cluster, used for safe passage through the unreliable and unstable Transitory Mists.
The Royal Hapan Armed Forces have historically had a major presence in the Knot Holes in order to intercept any vessels trying to gain access to the inner regions of the Hapes Cluster without permission. Naval forces operate out of Telkur Station.
