Early Life

Tovakinpi was born to his Hapan parents years after they fled Hapan space. Tovakinpi lived most of his early life in space. His parents owned a small-time shipping company and carried goods back and forth across the galaxy. Through this Tovakinpi was able to pick up small skills by piloting his families YT-1300 Thunderbird. Tovakinpi’s education was provided by his parents, very little containing academic information primarily consisting of skills and trades for later on in his life.

At the age of ten, life changed during a routine delivery on Corellia where a radical terrorist organization set of a bomb in the middle of the spaceport that Tovakinpi’s parents were operating in. Shielded by his mother’s corpse Tovakinpi survived the blast and made his way back to the Thunderbird. Where he set course for the only family he knew of, the ones he had never met in Hapes even knowing he had no chance of finding them without a name it was the only thing that Tovakinpi had to go on.

Arriving at Lorell Tovakinpi, not yet very skilled in piloting crashed the Thunderbird and was knocked out. Awaking days later in a hospital Tovakinpi was placed in an orphanage, which he lived for the next nine years of his life. Unable to find his family Tovakinpi eventually joined the Royal Hapan Navy.

Military Career

Royal Hapan Navy

Upon joining the Royal Hapan Armed Forces Tovakinpi originally joined the Navy. During the first few months of his service Tovakinpi was switched several times amongst fleets and served under several Commanders such as the 7th fleet under Robin Hood, 9th fleet under Vang Tyrridon, and the 17th fleet under Scott Alexander before he found a more permanent home in the 1st fleet under Gane Lant who eventually became his first mentor. Tovakinpi served working his way up from Fleet Morale Officer, Line Executive Officer and eventually to Line Commander as Gane Lant was replaced by Yassar Earendil. Tovakinpi reached the rank of Lieutenant within the Royal Hapan Navy though he quickly became dissatisfied with the naval lifestyle.

Royal Hapan Army

Shortly before the anniversary of him joining the Navy, Tovakinpi started seeking a different career with more excitement. After mentioning this he was spoken to by two officers whom he had to come to respect and look up to, Locke Firecam and Vang Tyrridon, and was eventually offered a position in a soon to be reorganized, Royal Hapan Army as Commander of the Marine Corps. This was the excitement and opportunity that Tovakinpi was looking for and he quickly agreed.

Though he started wearily, Tovakinpi was soon more confident in his leadership skills, refusing to sit behind a desk all day he operated alongside his fellow Marines. With a high rate of both speed and efficiency of operations Tovakinpi received several remarks of gratitude from the current Army Commander Vang Tyrridon as well as King Jessy James, which only spurred him on to do better. Under Toshikhan the Marine Corps eventually grew to be the largest part of the Army and continuously grew larger.

After some time Tovakinpi left the Marines to Heyallo Stylez in order to Command the Regiment Corps who recently was in need of a new commander. With this move Tovakinpi was placed as second in command of the Army. Shortly after that now Lord Tyrridon moved back to the Royal Hapan Navy and Tovakinpi took command of the Army.

After taking control of the Army Tovakinpi was faced with a series of challenges both coming from within and outside the Army, which allowed him to recognize issues within the Army’s structure. Tovakinpi soon reorganized the Army after a model originally designed by his most recent mentor Vang Tyrridon, which is how the Army currently operates today, with Tovakinpi sitting at the head looking to the future for the challenges that await him.

Personal Life

Tovakinpi met his close friend and bodyguard Matthew during his military training upon joining the Royal Hapan Navy when they participated in a large bar fight over an argument of piloting techniques. Matthew now retired from the military works as Tovakinpi’s personal aid and bodyguard and served as his best man at Tovakinpi’s first wedding.

The first love of Tovakinpi’s life as well as his first wife was Anya Veila-Turner. Soon after their wedding Anya fled into seclusion after the death of her brother and is now presumed dead along with the couples’ unborn twins. Tovakinpi broke his promise to himself never to fall in love again when he entered into a relationship with one of his soldiers, Maiestyes Pryvie. The happy couple is now engaged and currently making wedding plans among their busy schedules.

Tovakinpi shortly after joining the Army accepted a position as Retainer of the reinstated noble House Tyrridon from his mentor and commander, Vang Tyrridon. Tovakinpi proudly served until he became the Army Commander and was no longer legally able to as a member of the Grand Council. The Grand Council was later dissolved and Tovakinpi was invited by King Jessy James I to serve as the first Vassal of House James where he currently resides.
