The Ministry of Intelligence was originally established as the Royal Hapan Intelligence bureau but was later reformed in to Central Hapan Intelligence. The department was a welcome change for many officers and personnel who did not desire to serve in the Royal Hapan Armed Forces, yet had reoccurring leadership issues resulting in frequent replacement of directors.
Mors Baynos and his successor Zayth Kadrim led the Ministry in to a peaceful and stable era. Today it is the only Ministry which does not maintain the Civil Service's rank structure and operates fairly independent of all other branches.
