Template:Ship-Individual-Current The HRS Glory II is one of the very few Victory Star Destroyers serving outside the Imperial Navy. The vessel is currently in service with the Royal Hapan Navy and has been in the possession of the Hapes Consortium since 4031. Minor updates have been made to the vessel such as the addition of Hapan military technology as well as new navigation systems for smoother travel within the Transitory Mists, RAGoC targeting computers and an overhaul of the senior staff’s quarters. The ship is equipped with a wing of Miy'til Interceptors and Hetrinar Assault Bombers.

History

The ship was originally produced by Kuat Drive Yards for the Imperial Navy and was later made flagship of the Imperial Core & Dark Empire. It served during many of the break-away Imperial faction's campaigns against the Galactic Empire and Rebel Alliance. After the Galactic Empire was re-unified and Uebles became Emperor, diplomatic relations between the Imperials and Hapes Consortium were officially established again.

King James and Emperor Uebles signed a long foreseen non aggression treaty which allowed the Hapes Consortium to exist side by side with the Galactic Empire in peace. The wording was chosen so carefully that it did not harm the Imperials core legislation nor did it put the Consortium under their rule. Many considered it to be the master piece of good will. The Glory was donated to the Hapes Consortium as a symbol of good will.

Service

During her service in the Imperial Navy the ship carried the name “Glory”. King James decided to keep the name and altered it to “HRS Glory II”, making it the second ship in the Hapes Consortium to carry the name, with the first being a Mark II class Nova Battle Cruiser built by the Olanji Corporation in 4027.

During its first years under the Hapan banner the HRS Glory II served in Phoenix, giving the Phoenix fleet some much needed heavy firepower to keep off any aggressors and the ship functioned as an escort cruiser for HRS Pride. With the increasing budgets and growing Hapan economy the ship was then transferred to the Royal Hapan Navy, with pure Hapan class ships taking it’s place in the Phoenix fleet.

With the signing of the Imperial Union there may be a few new Victory Star Destroyers serving side by side with Hapan fleets in the future.
