Template:UnderConstruction Architecture in the Hapes Consortium is primarily divided in to six distinct styles, most of which originate from the Antiquity Era and Second Antiquity Era. The use of the various styles vary within the different regions of the Hapes Cluster, primarily because of the cultural gap between the Rifle Worlds/Rim Worlds and the Capital/Interior regions that grew significantly from the Third Expansion Era and on.

History

Early Eras

During the early periods of Hapan history, the Foundation Era and First Expansion Era, the Hapes Consortium was still forming its identity as a state within the Hapes Cluster. The architecture bore resemblance to the that of many Galactic Republic worlds which the females captured by the Lorell Raiders had come from. On the frontier worlds as the Consortium expanded, not much emphasis was put in to trying to establish cities similar to those on Lorell and Hapes Prime and colonies were usually modules from the original colony ships.

The first Royal Hapan Palace was constructed in 280 during the First Expansion Era as the Hapes Consortium had established its presence in several other systems and was becoming an authentic sector-spanning government rather than the ruler of two worlds and some small colonies. It was intended to be a symbol of the Queen-Mother's wealth and power which could also impress leaders of smaller native governments within the Hapes Cluster. Up until then the monarchs had resided in a fairly modest castle known as the Reef Fortress.
