The Dukatii is the second highest social level within the nobility of the Hapes Consortium. The Dukatii-level noble houses governed planets on behalf of the local ruling Tarii during the Age of Queen-Mothers and much of the same hierarchy was kept during the Dark Age. While subordinate to the Tarii, the Dukatii often presided over Duchii and Turilii as part of their governing duties.
