Template:Cluster-Region The Interior region is located deep within the Hapes Cluster and takes its name from the fact that some of the systems here are the furthest away from the Lorell system which is the only known gateway to the sector. Historically speaking the Interior has always been the home of moderate nobility and during the Hapan civil war, the authority figures of the region supported Princess Ta'lan's calls for centralisation of power within the Hapes Consortium.
It is governed from the Abaem system by Archon of the Interior. The Abaem system has always been the capital of the region, but recently rose to even greater prominence following the development of Nagel and Gormoth. The Rii system is also located in the Interior, home to House James.
The symbol of the Interior has always been the Queen-Mother's Pearls. The pearls are a large concentration of red giant stars on the outskirts of the region. The stars are visible from all corners of the Hapes Consortium.
