Template:Nobility-Box-Female-D-Mil Dahalia Shaa (Lady Shaa of Alsnin) (Dahalia Ta'din Shaa Alsninah) was a Lady of House Shaa, the ruler of the Grand Tarii of Alsnin and later the entire Alsace system. A strong supporter of conservative values, Dahalia Shaa aligned her family with the Draconian Union as the Hapan Civil War broke out in 3946.
When the Victory Alliance broke away from the Draconian Union in 3965, House Shaa was driven from the Alsace system and lived years in exile. Following the defeat of House Vali'dara and House Tyrridon in 3972, the former territories of the two houses were annexed by House Shaa, bringing the entire Alsace system under their rule.
Dahalia Shaa was also instrumental in the destruction of the Tears of Dawnstar rebel movement which was led by her youngest daughter Lyric Shaa. Her two oldest daughters, Wensay and Emilie Shaa became her most trusted advisors and executed her will with brutal efficiency. When she passed away in 3986, she was succeeded by the oldest daughter, Wensay Shaa.
She never expressed any regret for having ordered her youngest daughter's execution and is largely remembered by the populace of Alsace as a tyrannical and brutal noble who went to great lengths to quell voices of dissent.
