Template:UnderConstruction Template:Regent-Box-Male Zell Jaak (Lord Regent Jaak of Abaem) (Zell Tarix Chume Jaak) was born on Lorell as the son of the Falleen Federations Ambassador Jacob Jaak. After spending his first years on the Draconian Union's capital planet, the family returned to Falleen space where he studied and made his career within the Federation. Internal fights left the Federation on the threshold to a revolution, and Jaak being a supporter of the dethroned King left the chaos to seek fortune in the place he was born.

Starting from scratch he made a new career in record time within the Hapes Consortium. Appointed as Minister of the Interior and given access to the Royal Council it didn’t take long to prove his worth. Within one year, as Prime Minister Smith resigned, Jaak had suddenly become one of the leading candidates to fill his shoes and was appointed as Prime Minister in 4030. His term of three years made him the most successful Prime Minister in Hapan history. His time in office was marked by frequent grandiose achievements and reforms to improve the Hapan government and bureaucracy. Several large tax planets were developed during this time period, and the civil service was created.

After receiving lordship from the King in 4031 Jaak started House Jaak with the Abaem system as its main seat. The tax planet Gormoth in the system is a showcase of projects initiated by him. After resigning from the heavy duties as Prime Minister in the summer of 4033, King James recognized the need for continued support to lead the Consortium and appointed him as Lord Regent of the Consortium to rule by his side.
