Template:UnderConstruction Template:Tech-Gun The RAGC-750 repeating pulse cannon was produced steadily from 3122 on to 4005 as the Cyborg Warriors of Charubah made up a large portion of the Royal Hapan Army's ground troops. The massive blaster rifles were made exclusively for the cyborgs and since their role was reduced and removed from the armed forces of the Hapes Consortium, production ceased.

Overview

Development & Function

The introduction of Cyborg Warriors in to the Royal Hapan Armed Forces in 2089 called for the development of larger guns more suited for the metallic warriors' skills. The Royal Armaments Guild of Charubah first developed the RAGC-150 repeating pulse cannon which was introduced to the military forces in 2091. Several additional models were introduced over the centuries as technology advanced and the cyborgs became increasingly stronger. The RAGC-750 was the final model designed for the cyborgs and was considered sufficient during the last nine centuries that the cyborgs were a part of the armed forces.

RAGC-760

The RAGC-760 was an advanced model of the gun which was tested with the troops from 3971 on to 3973. It was deemed unsuccessful as the advantages of the improved fire rate did not outweigh the extreme weight increase.

RAGC-770

The RAGC-770 was a continuation of the RAGC-760 which was put in to use from 3986. It was lighter and lacked the repeater mode, intended to be an advance sniper rifle. While considered successful, it saw limited action.

Usage

Like all Cyborg Warriors-related products, the cannon was tied to the operator via electronic circuits, making them capable of operating the weapons faster. The cannons were connected to the RAGC CW-5 Utility Belt worn by the operator. The cannons were extremely sophisticated and some of the most powerful weaponry available to infantry, though weighing 120 kilos, making them somewhat unsuitable for most species.

The guns would connect, via the belt, to the operator's optical implants and neurological net, technically becoming part of the cyborg's body.

Semi-Automatic

The guns could be set to two different modes. The first was the semi-automatic mode, preferred by the Cyborg Warriors as they went in to close combat. The mode was considered quite unsuitable for a gun of the RAGC-750s size, but necessary when in close proximity to friendly troops and possibly innocents. The mode was usually used for base-raids and while targeting a specific hostile.

Repeater

The second mode was the repeater mode, used by troops when on larger battlefields with slim chance of hitting any friendly targets. The repeater mode was deadly and had a high chance of hitting its target, though not as damaging as the semi-automatic mode which allowed for more precision.
