Template:UnderConstruction Template:Branch-CivilWar-DN The Draconian Navy was one of the most powerful naval forces in the Hapes Cluster during the Hapan civil war. It was formed by annexing the commoner Consortium Navy with the private armadas of the Draconian noble houses (the Noble Navy) in 3946. Unlike many other civil war navies, the Draconian Navy did not have any central command apart from being pledged to the cause of the Draconian Union's monarch.

Much of the Draconian Union's success depended entirely on the nobility's willingness to work together to achieve a common goal. While technically aligned with one another, the major noble houses of the faction had their own agendas in the Hapan civil war, such as the expansion of their territory and also personal wealth. As a result, major unified military campaigns were hard to organise and rarely occurred except for when the monarch of the Union demanded it.
