Template:Branch-Ministry The Ministry of Finance was established in 4026 with the first modern cabinet of Lorell Hall in order to manage the financial transactions of the Hapan government which had begun investing in foreign companies settling on Lorell. It has since been an important part of the Hapes Consortium, being responsible for monthly wages of all echelons of the government and Royal Hapan Armed Forces.
The Ministry is also responsible for the planning of large financial projects together with the Office of the Prime Minister and Ministry of Industry and is in charge of issuing budgets to the members of the Royal League of Commerce.
Departments
Salaries
The Ministry of Finance is responsible for paying the wages of all departments of the Hapes Consortium. It is the responsibility of branch and division leaders to ensure that personnel records in the Hapan databases accurately displays a person's rank, position and various bonuses the individual is entitled to. At the beginning of every month the Minister reviews the records before paying out all wages.
For the sake of simplicity, all branches within the Hapes Consortium and also the National Corporations of the Royal League of Commerce maintain a 15-level rank tier with equal pay for equal levels.
Royal League of Commerce
The Ministry of Finance plays a minor part in the Royal League of Commerce, though it does not maintain a seat on the board of directors like the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Industry. It is responsible for reviewing and granting budgets to the National and Municipal Corporations of the Hapes Consortium.
