Template:Planetary-System The Arxian system is part of the Rim Worlds region and is located on the border of the Irrea Mist, near the Orelon Belt. It was originally discovered in 302 during the First Expansion Era, but not colonised until 3948, during the Dark Age. The system was symbolically the dominion of House Raquill of Selab in between 702 and actual colonisation. From 3948 and on, the system has been under governance of House Tylger.

The system is home to Hapan humans and also Belgorians. The planet of Belgor was devastated during the bombardment of the planet in 3977. The Belgorians have since lived on Arxian Minor and Arxian Major alongside the humans.

History

Age of Queen-Mothers

The system was first explored during the First Expansion Era and named after the Arxianic dynasty. It was deemed unsuitable for colonisation due to the hazardous region of space it was located in, as well as the hostile natives of Belgor and dangerous predators of Arxian Minor, Arxian Major and Sintral.

From 702, the system came under the symbolic rule of House Raqill of Selab and became part of the Grand Tarii of Selab. Even so, the system was never colonised and representatives of the noble house only visited the system five times between 702 and 3948.

Queen-Mother Tini'duran VI attempted to sway the Belgorians to become a part of the Hapes Consortium during the Antiquity Era. She hoped to impress them with the Consortium's new-found cultural might, but failed and diplomatic contact ceased in 881.

Dark Age

After the Hapan civil war broke out during the Dark Age, Princess Da'tan approved the colonisation of the system by pilgrims. House Tylger was assigned to govern the system from Arxian Major. Arxian Minor was settled as well and the Draconian Union established an outpost on Belgor to start talks with the Belgorian race once again.

The system became an important part of the Draconian Union due to House Tylger's close ties to Princess Da'tan, her daughter and also House Ci'hani. As the Belgorians become important to the armed forces of the Draconian Union, Belgor became a target for the Sword Confederacy which devastated the planet in 3977.

For the remaining duration of the Dark Age the system was heavily fortified as a last stand for the Draconian Union.

Phoenix Age & Golden Age

During the Phoenix Age, the system retained much of its important status in the Rim Worlds region due to House Tylger's support of King Andrew's re-unification efforts. The system became popular among many former Draconian noble houses who had lost political influence in their old dominions. Many of them relocated to Arxian Major between 4005 and 4020.

During the Golden Age the planets Arxian Minor and Arxian Major went through a series of changes as House Tylger decided to expand the commercial activity in most of the major cities.
