The Charu Wheels were two enormous circular shipyard facilities that ensured Olanji/Charubah's status as the Hapes Consortium's premier ship building corporation for sixteen centuries. The stations consisted of countless modules of various sizes that allowed for the construction of entire task forces simultaneously. While owned by Olanji/Charubah, numerous other House Olanji-owned corporations rented modules on the stations.
When House Olanji lost control of the Charu system in 3991, the Phoenix Movement attempted to keep the Wheels operational, with little success. Only limited parts of the Wheels produced ships for the Movement and the remaining modules were abandoned and started becoming derelict.
In a final failed attempt to reclaim Charu, House Olanji's forces destroyed the Wheels in order to limit the Phoenix Movement's industrial capacity.
