The Amethius family has not ever held a prestigious place within either Hapan or Charubahan society but their academic achievements have long been renowned. Most family members have already earned their doctorates in a variety of fields from Health to Sociology to Astronautics. This rather recent addition to the Hapan nobility, under the leadership of Lord Dortan Amethius seeks to promote education and research (particularly of the starship variety) projects throughout the Hapes Cluster.
